Scott Skiles might not ever coach again in the NBA after resigning in Orlando. Then again, he might.
What's certain is that he won't be coaching in the league for a while, perhaps for as long as the next two seasons under a non-compete agreement with the Magic.
The Magic saddled former Florida Gators coach Billy Donovan with a similar NBA non-compete for an undisclosed period in 2007 after he quit a few days after taking the job.
Donovan returned to UF and stayed for another eight seasons until being hired by the Oklahoma City Thunder before this season.
