TORONTO — The chant started just before the introduction of the final Eastern or Western Conference starter Sunday night.
"Ko-be! Ko-be! Ko-be!"
It was, of course, for Kobe Bryant, who was playing in his last NBA All-Star Game.
An ovation then thundered throughout the Air Canada Centre when the public-address announcer mentioned Bryant's name.
Bryant didn't end his All-Star Game career as the MVP.
But he did go out a winner.
Bryant's Western Conference beat the Eastern Conference 196-173.
In 26 minutes, Bryant finished with 10 points — and a few extra fond memories to his storied career.
