Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac suffered a torn ACL in his left knee while driving to the basket during the fourth quarter against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
Some of his teammates had tears in their eyes after watching Isaac receive treatment on the floor and eventually leave the court in a wheelchair.
An MRI revealed the extend of the injury that happened with 9:19 left in the game, team officials announced. There was no indication whether surgery will be required, but the team said Isaac will be out indefinitely and his return to basketball activities will depend on how he responds to treatment and rehabilitation.
