Jodie Meeks Undergoes Surgery to Stabilize Right Foot Injury

ORLANDO – Orlando Magic guard Jodie Meeks underwent a surgical procedure today to further stabilize the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, General Manager Rob Hennigan announced today. He will be out indefinitely and his return to action will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation.

Meeks (6’4”, 210, 8/21/87) was acquired on June 29 from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for a future conditional second round draft pick. He played in only three games with Detroit last season, averaging 7.3 ppg., 1.7 rpg. and 1.0 apg. in 14.5 minpg. Meeks originally suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Oct.
