Jodie Meeks underwent a surgical procedure to stabilize the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, the Orlando Magic announced Tuesday, and will be out indefinitely, as his response to rehabilitation will dictate when he can return to the floor.
Orlando acquired Meeks in a trade with the Detroit Pistons on June 29th following what was effectively a lost season for the former Kentucky Wildcat. Meeks broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot on October 28th--Detroit's second game of the season--and played only one more time the rest of the way as he recovered.
