MEMPHIS – Orlando Magic small forward Jeff Green joked on Monday that if he got emotional every time he faced a former team or teammate that he would likely be a mental wreck by the end of an 82-game season.
Green, who signed a free-agent contract with the Magic in the offseason, returned on Monday to Memphis where he played for the Grizzlies for parts of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. Green has now played for five different franchises and has actually called six cities his NBA home since he was originally a member of the Seattle SuperSonics before they moved to Oklahoma City.
