LAS VEGAS — Orlando Magic top draft pick Jalen Suggs, one of the tournament darlings at the NBA Summer League, appeared injure his hand in the second quarter during a game against the Boston Celtics and left the contest.
Official word from the Magic was that Suggs suffered a sore hand and he would not return to the game. He played 11 minutes and scored six points before leaving the contest.
Suggs had come away with a steal on the Celtics end of the floor and drove the length of the court with Boston’s Zach Auguste and Carson Edwards in pursuit on defense.
