Fournier Has Been Scorching Hot From Perimeter

CLEVELAND – One of many Orlando Magic storylines entering this season was about eight-year NBA veteran Evan Fournier and whether he would have a bounce-back shooting season. Although he played well as it pertains to most other aspects of the game last year, the 27-year-old struggled to find the mark, making just 43.8 percent of his shots overall and a career-low 34 percent of them from 3-point range.

A few weeks into the season and it appears Fournier’s shooting has indeed returned to familiar form. Coming off an outstanding FIBA World Cup this past summer, in which he led France to the bronze, Fournier currently ranks second in the NBA in field goal percentage from 20 to 24 feet out among players who have attempted at least 35 shots from this range.
