The NBA is good business these days.
The league just signed a new TV rights deal that has the league — everyone from owners to players — awash with cash. And the league is benefitting from entertaining play and a strong international business plan and presence. The league is as healthy as it has ever been financially.
The LA Clippers sold to Steve Balmer a few years ago fro $2 billion and franchise values continue to climb.
That includes the Orlando Magic.
According to Forbes’ ranking of the most valuable franchises in the NBA, the Magic’s value increased from $900 million to $920 million this past year and saw revenue increase from $143 million to $166 million.
