The Magic dished out 35 assists – one shy of a season high – and matched a season best with 15 made 3-pointers in New York.
That’s not an accident. The Magic’s offensive success against the Knicks came from their unselfishness, ball movement, screening and patience.
Orlando relies on having at minimum five – if not six or seven – players score in double figures. Nobody has to erupt for video game-like numbers. The Magic just need steady, efficient production from several guys.
This is exactly what has happened in most of the Magic’s wins this season.
