Evan Fournier usually recites basketball statistics with impressive precision, but even he has lost count of how many coaches he's played for in the NBA.
That task became even more difficult when Scott Skiles resigned as Orlando Magic coach and was replaced by Frank Vogel.
"He's going to be my fifth," Fournier said. "No, sixth, actually."
Correct. Assuming Fournier remains with the Magic in free agency, Vogel will be Fournier's sixth coach in five seasons. The others were George Karl and Brian Shaw in Denver and Jacque Vaughn, James Borrego and Skiles in Orlando.
The coaching instability Fournier has endured is an extreme case, but his current Magic teammates don't lag too far behind.
