Currently, the Orlando Magic are 11th in the Eastern Conference, only five games back from the eighth seed and the final spot in the Playoffs, currently held by the Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls.
There is no straight line to the postseason with a few teams the Magic would have to surpass. The Magic are neck and neck with two other teams looking to make the playoffs as well, the Detroit Pistons (29-29), and the Washington Wizards (27-30).
