Count former Orlando Magic coach Doc Rivers as a big fan of current Magic coach Scott Skiles.
Doc, who was a surprise guest on our Open Mike radio show Wednesday, broached the topic of Skiles without even being prompted.
"I think he's a wonderful coach," said, Doc, the highly respected head coach of the L.A. Clippers who still lives in Orlando during the offseason. "I think he was a great choice for the franchise. I think people will be surprised with how well they do this year."
WKMG News 6 sports director David "Ping" Pingalore, a regular guest on our show, asked Doc how good the Magic could be this year.
