The Orlando Magic will enter the regular season with power forward Damjan Rudez and center Arinze Onuaku on their roster.
The team waived guards Nick Johnson and Ramon Galloway on Saturday afternoon to cut the roster to 15 players.
The decision to keep Rudez, 30, was expected. He stretches the floor with his outside shooting and made 57.1 percent of his 3-pointers during the preseason. He also played for coach Frank Vogel in Indiana during the 2014-15 season.
The decision to keep Onuaku, 29, was a bit of a surprise.
Known for his physicality, the 6-foot-9, 255-pound Onuaku will give the Magic depth on the interior behind Bismack Biyombo, Serge Ibaka and Nikola Vucevic.
