The Orlando Magic has a well-known weakness. And this season can be used as evidence the Magic’s offense needs improvement.
Before the All-Star break, the Magic had one of the worst offenses in the league scoring 103.9 points per game, the second-worst in the NBA. They had the 27th-best offense in the league by offensive rating, scoring only 105.5 points per 100 possessions.
The team had an uptick on that end after the break before the league went on hiatus — 117.8 points per 100 possessions and 119.8 points per game, both tops in the league.
