Orlando Magic fans taking in a game at Amway Center recently may have noticed a new feature near section 116 on the Terrace Level: the FOX Sports Florida Shootout Challenge.
The interactive feature, which debuted a week ago, invites fans to test their shooting skills by challenging them to sink as many shots as possible within 45 seconds. The catch: they won’t shoot a real basketball, but their own bodies. The Challenge works with the aid of a Kinect sensor and is displayed on a 10-foot-wide screen.
“We are always looking for unique and different ways to enhance the fan experience and FOX is at the forefront of innovation,” said Alex Martins, the Magic’s CEO, in a press release.
