Without three key players, the Orlando Magic scrapped and clawed on Sunday evening, but it was not enough as the Boston Celtics rallied late before holding on in overtime, 122-119.
The contest was close throughout, but it looked as though Orlando (32-39) was going to find a way. Nikola Vucevic had pushed the Orlando lead to five on a difficult jumper with 48 seconds to go, but Celtics’ forward Jayson Tatum had the answer.
After a second-chance triple cut the lead to two, Tatum made a contested shot over Markelle Fultz with four seconds to play to knot the score at 112.
