SALT LAKE CITY — The Orlando Magic think they've made progress closing out games.
So aside from maintaining and accelerating that progress, what's the next step?
Not losing double-digit leads and getting into tight, late-game situations in the first place.
The Magic's narrow victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night offers a case-in-point. Orlando led by 17 points midway through the third quarter, but Minnesota rallied to tie the score with 4:37 left.
"We had really good fortitude in the last two or three minutes to get that win," coach Scott Skiles said before his team faced the Utah Jazz on Thursday night.
