The Orlando Magic have selected Stephen Zimmerman with the 41st pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Zimmerman, 19, averaged 10.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game in his lone season at UNLV.
A center with great size, Zimmerman spent most of his time with his back to the basket on the offensive end, despite his strong play in the pick-and-roll. Zimmerman has high upside as a finisher around the rim, and has shown nice touch on his jump shot, something that could make him more valuable moving forward.
With the likes of Jason Smith and Dewayne Dedmon hitting free agency, Zimmerman gives the Magic a young center with upside to potentially replace one, or both should they not return in free agency.
