When Natalie Sago and Jenna Schroeder officiate the Orlando Magic’s Monday night game against the Charlotte Hornets, it will mark the first time in NBA history two women have worked the same game.
They will be joined by Sean Wright to complete the officiating crew for the 7 p.m. tipoff at Amway Center, according to a tweet posted Monday by the league.
“I guess we all have a personal way to look at it. For me, I have four nieces and I have a goddaughter who I’m super close with and they’ll be watching,” Orlando Magic coach Steve Clifford said of the milestone game for Sago and Schroeder.
