Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be returning to the LA Galaxy for the 2020 season, the club announced Wednesday.
The news was first broke by LA Times’ Kevin Baxter. Ibrahimovic’s contract expires at the end of 2019, and both Ibrahimovic and the Galaxy had planned meetings to discuss a new contract. Instead the sides agreed to mutually part ways, according to a release.
