UCF tailbacks Greg McCrae, Otis Anderson and Bentavious Thompson are the cornerstones of Knights’ ground attack entering the 2020 season. But while all eyes are sure to be on the veterans, a pair of newcomers could contribute to the offense sooner rather than later.
Redshirt freshman Damarious Good and freshman Johnny Richardson have been turning heads in preseason camp, earning praise from running backs coach Anthony Tucker.
“[I’ve] been really pleased with the young talent we have in that room,” Tucker said. “I think the future looks bright. The future might be now.”
Good, who spent last season working with the scout team, has taken a big step forward in his development according to Tucker.
