Orlando City stars Chris Mueller, Daryl Dike and Andrés Perea will join the faces of the future for the U.S. men’s national team during December camp.
While they join young group of Americans looking to build a strong foundation for the national team, these three players also represent the future for Orlando City — Mueller is 24 while both Dike and Perea are 20.
After calling up three Lions, coach Gregg Berhalter cited a strong connection with the Orlando City coaching staff, which he says bolstered the national team’s interest in eligible Lions players.
Mueller was the first Orlando City player to earn campaigning cries for a call-up this year after his explosive start in the MLS is Back tournament.
