USF signee Trey Moss scored 12 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the Windermere Wolverines pull away from Boone for a 64-50 victory in a Class 7A Region 2 boys basketball quarterfinal on Thursday night.
Sean Stewart carried the Wolverines, scoring 13 of his team-high 21 points in the third quarter. That allowed the Windermere to stave off a stiff Boone challenge.
Windermere (17-5), which is No. 4 in the Sentinel Super 16 area rankings will play host to No. 2 Oak Ridge on Tuesday in a rematch of last year’s region final, won by the Pioneers 70-51.
