There’s only one thing that can make up for being under-manned on the soccer field: hard work. Tactical adjustments, substitutions, and disrupting the opponent are all a part of coping with being outnumbered on the field. But there’s no substitute for hard work; and it took every bit of energy from the players plus some more to earn a draw last night against the Fire.
Midfielder Will Johnson epitomized Orlando City’s team-first mentality during Sunday night’s match. After a Rafael Ramos’ red card in the 26th minute, Johnson stepped in to fill the void at right back.
