Goal celebrations abounded Wednesday night in Orlando City’s 4-1 win over Montreal – arms thrown in the air, Kaká reeling in an imaginary fishing line, hugs, leaps and Brek Shea coolly jogging across the front of Montreal’s net like it was no big deal he just equalized in the fourth minute.
But one celebration caught the attention of everyone watching: Carlos Rivas pulling a pacifier out of his shorts and popping it into his mouth after a 77th-minute goal.
Fans speculated for hours after the match what the action meant and where he was hiding that pacifier all night.
