While Tua starts, another Dolphins rookie could make his debut on offense vs. Rams

As one Miami Dolphins rookie makes his first career NFL start, another could make his anticipated debut, too.

Dolphins rookie Malcolm Perry, who could line up as a receiver and running back, is active to play in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams at Hard Rock Stadium.

Perry and Dolphins starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who will make his first career start, created some chemistry during their Dolphins training camp, which could show if they connect for any plays against the Rams.

Perry, a seventh-round pick who played quarterback at Navy and gained 5,320 all-purpose yards in college, was not active to play for the first six games of the season, but should give the Dolphins offense a boost if given the opportunity.
