Wekiva rising senior Areli Patricio is one of three high school girls soccer players from Florida selected to take part in the Southeast All-American Soccer showcase this summer in Georgia.
The inaugural four-team girls soccer event will be held at Providence Christian Academy in Lilburn, Ga., on Saturday, June 13, in front of college coaches and scouts.
Patricio joins Merritt Island’s Brooklyn McDuffie and Sebastian River’s Kaitlyn DiPersia among a list of 58 players from 10 states representing the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Wekiva girls soccer coach Ryan Nash will serve as an assistant coach at the three-day event, which includes training sessions June 11-12.
