Lake Highland Prep’s boys lacrosse team will play host to Vero Beach St. Edward’s (14-4) on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in a Class 1A region final.
The game was postponed last Friday afternoon after a tragic occurrence on campus at St. Edward’s. A student died after jumping off a school dock into the Indian River Lagoon according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s office.
The Highlanders (9-8) are seeking their program’s tenth final four berth. Tuesday’s winner will play Jacksonville Bolles (15-3) at noon on Friday in a state semifinal game at the Austin-Tindall Sports Complex in Kissimmee.
