Instead of rounding the bases this spring toward another postseason run and enjoying all that comes with being a college senior, the 2016 Lake Brantley grad is completing classwork online and getting creative with home workouts in Orlando as he pursues a professional baseball career.
“It’s really tough to just end something like that with no closure,” Ray said of the college baseball season.
Ray finished 2-for-3 with two runs batted in and one run scored on March 11 during an 11-2 win at home against Toledo in what would be his final contest with the Commodores (13-5).
