WASHINGTON, D.C. — The United States men’s national team starts preparation for the Concacaf Gold Cup at Audi Field June 5 against Jamaica.
After a few weeks of preparation in the D.C. area, the USMNT host the Reggae Boyz for the first time in Audi Field’s young history. Fox Sports 1 and UniMas will broadcast the friendly.
“As we prepare for the start of the Gold Cup, this is the perfect opportunity in terms of opponent and venue,” U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter said in a statement released by U.S. Soccer. “For us, there’s always something special about playing in the nation’s capital.
