The United States men’s national team continued its hot scoring streak with a 4-1 win in a friendly against Jamaica on Thursday, improving to six straight unbeaten games during the last year.
Orlando City star Daryl Dike was sidelined for the match after picking up a slight knock during national team training leading up to the Thursday match. The decision to hold Dike out of the match was “precautionary” and he could still feature in Sunday’s match against Northern Ireland in Belfast, according to an ESPN2 report provided during the broadcast.
This is the second time in three call-ups that Dike has been unable to play in a match due to a small injury incurred during training.
