USF is moving forward with a long-awaited $25 million upgrade to its football facilities that includes the construction of an indoor performance facility.
It’s a plan that been in the works for the past four years, stalling due to changes in leadership and the coronavirus pandemic.
“We couldn’t wait any longer,” Kelly said of the upgrade project, which kicks off at the end of spring football practice in March.
The project, which began in 2017 and was slated to cost $40 million, will now be completed in several phases.
