As South Florida embarks on Year 2 under coach Jeff Scott, the Bulls feel they are in a much better position than they were in 2020.
The COVID-19 pandemic framed much of the season for USF, which was unable to host spring camp or summer workouts as the school shut down. Both camps loomed as crucial in trying to develop chemistry and continuity on a team with a new coaching staff.
“Last year was a challenge,” said Scott, 40. “I think it was a challenge for everybody but especially for a new staff and a team coming in and trying to get to know each other.
