Most of the biggest soccer countries are preparing for a trip to Russia. Meanwhile, one look at the United States Men’s National Team roster and it is clear that the U.S. is preparing for 2022. No Michael Bradley, Tim Howard, or Jozy Altidore. Instead, interim head coach Dave Sarachan called up Josh Sargent, Tim Weah, and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
With an average age of just 22 years old, this roster is filled with young and inexperienced players. Christian Pulisic and Joe Corona are the most experienced players, and there are just two players born before 1990.
