The Knights will play BYU on Dec. 22 at FAU Stadium, with the kickoff set for 7 p.m. and the game airing on ESPN.
This is the third meeting between the two programs, but the first since 2014. UCF lost the first meeting on the road in 2011 but won the rematch in 2014.
The Cougars (10-1), who were ranked as high as No. 13 in the College Football Playoff rankings, are off to their best start since 2011.
The matchup would pit two of the top offenses in the country against each other. UCF ranks second in the nation in total offense (585 yards per game) while BYU is 10th (510 yards per game).
