Jake Hescock has seen a lot in his three seasons as a tight end at UCF, but the redshirt senior isn’t quite ready to close his college career.
The Massachusetts native is going to take advantage of a one-time NCAA waiver that allows players who participated in this pandemic-altered season to receive an additional year of eligibility.
“I think I’m definitely going to take it,” Hescock said. “I think getting another year under [tight ends coach Alex] Golesh is going to be beneficial for me.”
Hancock has appeared in 33 games during his career with the Knights, starting 12 times.
