The deal is pending the approval of the school’s Board of Trustees, which are scheduled to meet Wednesday during a special virtual session. According to the report, if the deal is approved, it would go into effect on Sept. 1, one day before UCF kicks off the season against Boise State.
“Every piece of real estate that you can have a sign on it is a priority to building our budget,” Mohajir said during a ChargeOn fan stop in Oviedo. “Anybody that’s interested in sponsoring and partnering with us is a priority.”
The stadium, which was opened in 2007, has had several sponsorship names over the years including Bright House Networks Stadium and Spectrum Stadium but was named Bounce House Stadium in 2020 after a sponsorship deal with RoofClaim.
