With the UCF football program wrapping up fall camp over the weekend, the Knights officially began game preparation Tuesday for the season-opener vs. Boise State, head coach Gus Malzahn said.
“Overall, it was good to start concentrating on another opponent and not ourself,” Malzahn said. “You can tell our guys are excited about that.”
Malzahn explained he learned a lot about his team from a coaching perspective throughout fall camp and he believes the team accomplished its goals during the preseason.
“Personnel was our big thing,” Malzahn said about fall camp. “Just trying to get our guys to come together and understand the standard and expectations.
