UCF opens the 2020 college football season on national television, with the Knights set to play Georgia Tech on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
The game, which will be held at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, was originally set to be played on Friday, Sept. 18, but was pushed back a day.
This is the fourth meeting between the two programs and first since 2000, with the Yellow Jackets holding a 3-0 edge in the series.
The Knights were scheduled to open the season at home against North Carolina on Friday, Sept. 4, but saw that game disappear after the ACC announced it was going with an 11-game schedule that featured a home game against a nonconference opponent.
