The redshirt senior hasn’t played football in almost two seasons after sustaining a torn ACL during the 2019 opener against Florida A&M on Aug. 29. He spent part of this past season on the scout team along with quarterback McKenzie Milton as both worked to return following knee injuries.
Moore, a Sanford Seminole High alum, appeared in all 13 of UCF’s games in 2017, starting seven times, and was elevated to full-time starter in 2018. He was expected to be a major contributor in 2019.
He also was one of five players involved in a clash with law enforcement during a traffic stop in October.
