UCF coach Gus Malzahn continues to fill out his roster, adding another transfer in former Northwestern running back Isaiah Bowser.
Bowser, a 3-star prospect from Sidney, Ohio who was a part of the Wildcats’ 2018 recruiting class, announced his decision on social media Friday afternoon.
Bowser appeared in 23 games during his time in Evanston, rushing for 1,300 yards and seven touchdowns on 334 carries. His best season was in 2018 when he started nine games and finished with 866 yards and six touchdowns.
He started four of Northwestern’s first five games last season before injuries forced him into a smaller role, sharing backfield carries with Cam Porter and Drake Anderson.
