Large classification programs in Class 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A are slated to take part in Florida High School Athletic Association play-in games on Friday. But at least one game involving an area team has already been moved, though not directly related to the storm.
Dr. Phillips (5-1), ranked No. 3 in the Sentinel Super 16, was scheduled to play in front of an empty stadium at Miami Palmetto (1-1) on Friday. That game has been pushed to Saturday at 6 p.m. on the turf field at Traz Powell Stadium, located at Miami Dade College’s north campus.
