Four different players found the back of the net Tuesday night to help Trinity Prep win its first boys soccer district championship since 2011.
Marco Malabuyo, Henry Brown, Ryan Avallone and Liam Swanson each scored goals as the Saints (14-1-1) had no trouble with rival Lake Highland Prep (3-6-1) during a 4-0 win in the Class 3A District 9 final.
Shane Wright recorded his 10th shutout of the season in goal and Simon Brown assisted on a goal and drew two penalty kicks against the Highlanders.
The win assures the Saints a home region quarterfinal playoff game Wednesday against West Shore (12-7-1).
