It took overtime Tuesday night in Delray Beach for Trinity Prep to clinch a spot in the FHSAA boys soccer state final four for the first time.
The Saints scored three goals in the extra periods to claim the Class 3A Region 3 championship during a 4-1 win against previously unbeaten American Heritage (9-1-3).
Simon Brown scored twice, John Lowndes added a goal and two assists, and Henry Brown found the back of the net in the win.
Trinity Prep took a 1-0 lead with 16 minutes to play before American Heritage answered with a goal six minutes later.
