Timber Creek introduced Cintron, a former Wolves player and 2004 graduate, as the school’s new boys basketball coach in a social media post Monday afternoon.
Cintron moves over from the girls team after guiding that program to an 86-24 record and three district titles over the past four years, which included a trip to the state semifinals in 2020.
Cintron takes over for David Bailey, who was released from the head coaching position after capping his eighth season at the school with an 8-11 record. Bailey declined to comment about the separation without approval to do so from Orange County Public Schools.
