Timber Creek senior running back Jonathan Cabral rumbled through defenders all night and Ryan Campbell scored on a 100-yard kickoff return as the Wolves outscored visiting Oviedo 31-14 in high school football on Friday night.
Cabral finished with 17 carries for 114 rushing yards and two TDs and Timber Creek,, which opened the season with two losses, scored 28 unanswered points to improve to 2-2.
Oviedo (3-1), which came in No. 9 in the Sentinel Super 16 rankings, jumped ahead 7-0 early with D.J. Scott running behind an experienced offensive line. The Lions finished their first drive with Scott scoring a 1-yard touchdown out of the Wildcat formation with 2:43 remaining in the first quarter.
