Offense was the name of the game around MLS in Week 6. Over the eight matches that took place over the weekend 24 goals were scored, including nine in routs in New England and Atlanta and a wild five-goal affair at Orlando City Stadium. And those games didn’t even include high-flying offenses like New York City FC or the Houston Dynamo, who watched from home.
The Revolution were part of that goal fest and now surprisingly sit fourth in the early Eastern Conference picture while the Timbers dropped a heart-breaker and are resigned to just two points through six weeks of league action.
