ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 24, 2019) - Orlando Pride and six-time FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year Marta Vieira da Silva have agreed to a new contract ahead of the Club’s fifth National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season. Per team and league policies, terms of the contract were not announced.
“It’s wonderful for the Club and the fans to have Marta, whose career speaks for itself, back with the Pride next season. Marta is effervescent - nothing compares to the experience and passion she brings to our roster and I think this year she showed just how much she gives to this team,” Orlando Pride Head Coach Marc Skinner said.
