A big week for The First Academy began with a Sunday Olympic Games showing by former Royals track state champ Teahna Daniels and later included the announcement that the Royals are the FHSAA Class 3A all-sports champions for the 2020-21 school year.
The Royals won the Florida High School Athletic Association award for overall athletic department excellence by a margin of 84 points to 77 over runner-up Miami Westminster Christian. The all-sports title, in a program that dates to 1995, is a first for TFA.
